Gas prices going higher, banks failing and a world wide recession bringing entire countries to their knees. Sounds like a great time to campaign on social values, doesn't it? The current state of the republican presidential field seems to think that a 8% unemployment rate, a war in the middle east and real wages dropping like a rock is no real concern. WE MUST STOP ABORTION! And NOW
The funnier part of this mad dash to the bottom is The Right Wing's public face on this issue...not a single female face. Somehow the Republicans keep finding a way to show how nuts they truly are. Jeez, what if women were in charge and demanded a rectal exam for men purchasing guns?
What's the connection? There isn't one but the same can be said about Republicans recent attacks on abortion/the Pill and most other forms of female health care.
Rush "Blowhard" even went on "Rushmode" demeaning a Georgetown Law Student, who's only crime was supporting a provision in the Affordable Health Care Act.
The true issue to me is... It's a female choice. Not a male choice, it is a control issue for men of power. The day I see Hillary, Sarah, or Ann come out and say no to all abortions I will change my mind. Maybe. Because in the end it's still a women's choice.
Sure what man doesn't want a return to the 1800's where the wife/girlfriend or both listened and did "just as they were told".
Yea, right that's why there are more able body men staying at home these days sucking the life out of their girlfriends like a pimp.
Maybe we becoming a country of whimps.
